I was hired out of college to work as a physical model maker at Hasbro. My task was to help designers build models to aid in the prototype phase of projects. When everyone was sent home, I could no longer continue in that role. If I wanted to keep my job, I had to figure out another solution. That is when I started learning the 3D process. I quickly realized it was much faster and easier to build props/objects in 3D than to physically build them.
