I've been interested in the arts since middle school, but I had always assumed I'd be an illustrator rather than a game artist. It wasn't until I applied to Ringling that it even crossed my mind, after a Ringling representative suggested that I give it a try despite not knowing anything about 3D modeling or game design. I took a chance and it was probably the best decision I've ever made, as I fell in love with game art and design and have learned to do things that I never could have dreamed of.
