To design a hotel that helps people in this city rediscover themselves at 30 Jalan Beremi, Off, Jln Sultan Ismail, Bukit Bintang, 50200 Kuala Lumpur. The rapid pace of modern life in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has led to people losing themselves in the bustling routine. Work, meals, and sleep dominate their days, people work tirelessly just to survive. Facing reality is important, even if it's not always exciting. My hotel gives people a short break from their usual routine so they can relax. It is designed to be different and fun, to help guests feel ready to go back to their normal lives.

CONCEPT NARRATIVE

I want to create a fantasy world that allows people to return to the real world with a fresh perspective. A recent Hayao Miyazaki film, "The Boy And The Hero," has sparked much confusion among audiences, with many expressing that they don't understand the movie. However, amidst the confusion, it has given me numerous new ideas. This film is inspired by two books: "What Kind of Life Do You Want to Live?" and "The Book Of Lost Things." Firstly, the story of the movie revolves around the protagonist, accompanied by the presence of a heron and others, gradually uncovering the truth behind the fantasy world and the process of finding their life path.

"The Book Of Lost Things" narrates the story of a young boy during a war, coping with the impact of his mother's death, his father's remarriage, and the impending birth of a stepbrother, which fills him with immense anxiety. He inadvertently enters a fantasy world and encounters distorted versions of many familiar fairy tales. For example, Little Red Riding Hood falls in love with the Big Bad Wolf, Snow White is a heavily made-up innkeeper, and a female hunter attaches children's heads to animal bodies. After experiencing these adventures, the boy finally comes to terms with the fact of his mother's passing, matures into adulthood, and returns to the real world with a fresh perspective on life.

"The Boy And The Hero" is Miyazaki's application of the framework from "The Book Of Lost Things," combining familiar yet unfamiliar elements with our individual life experiences. This results in our unique interpretations, prompting us to contemplate the core question posed in the title: What kind of life do you want to live? Therefore, I want to turn Hayao Miyazaki's thoughts into reality. Although fantasy and magic are impossible in the real world, I hope to apply this idea to design, aiming to bring people some surprising experiences.
