I helped make a game called Little Rat for a Uni group project. This is a full collection of the assets I made, UV unwrapped and textured based on references given to me by my teammates. Thumbnail by Lily Allen

These are the references made by Lily Allen that I based the models and textures off of. This was my first time using references like these to model and I enjoyed it a lot, it was fun to mess around with certain placements to make sure the 3D models didn't look too linear.

Dynameshing and re-topologising were new to my skillset during this project and took a good amount of trial and error along with additional research before I got the looks I was looking for.

The UVs weren't perfect and some trees had a few imperfections that I didn't have the time to focus on fixing, thankfully they weren't very noticeable. Most of the issues with the UVs and the models themselves were how thin some parts were, leaving some very small holes in the model and other minor imperfections that would have taken ages to go over and fix each one. However I did learn how to fix such holes and issues during this process which I am thankful for. Below is an image of my UV process, lots of changes were done to each model's UVs once I realised some had holes.

A shot of the dynameshed models ready for texturing, as well as some smoother models we didn't end up using. It was a bit sad to loose some of the finer details in the dynameshing process but it goes unnoticed and doesn't affect the actual look of the models.
