Welcome to Fachwerk City, my final game environment developed during my time at Champlain College. This was created in Unreal Engine 5 and inspired by concept art.

Welcome to Fachwerk City, my final game environment developed during my time at Champlain College. I am proud for this to be the piece that showcases all of the skills that I have learned and practiced to earn my bachelors degree in Game Art from this program.

This environment was a massive learning experience for me especially in terms of lighting, as I needed to deeper explore the usage of it to bring more life into this scene. With that being said, this project has went through many lighting iterations that were crucial for me to explore.

This environment is completely modular, developed in Unreal Engine 5, and majority of the assets utilize procedural textures. I pushed myself to expand my knowledge and comfort with Substance Designer, attempting to maximize the usage of my materials in this environment.

Thank you to all of my fellow students and faculty who gave me feedback on this piece throughout its development. Their knowledge and feedback has shaped this project immensely, and I truly don't know where this project would be without their support.
