Trinity Haven is a 2D Metroid-Vania platformer. Fight and find the 3 artifacts to form the Trinity.
You play as Leon, a chameleon archaeologist fascinated by ancient temples. He travels to Trinity Haven, where rumor has it 3 elemental artifacts are hidden...
However, the island is filled with bitter spirits, themselves filled with aversion to any outside entity. They won't let you pass.
Isolated, Trinity Haven is doomed to destruction. But someone has to stop them: you!
Adventurers, find the sacred artifacts of the elemental trinity: wind, water and fire.

LEAD & GAMEPLAY DEVELOPER
My role on this project was quite vast. From game design to programming and project management. My main tasks, however, were to develop the main character and all the gameplay mechanics.
SYSTEMS DEVELOPED
- Character movement (run, jump, double jump and dash)
- UI: in-game HUD and menu navigation
- Adaptable combat system for both player and enemy (life, damage, death)
- Multi-combo attack system
- AI: Enemy behavior
- Game state management (artifacts owned, number of hearts, etc.)
ANIMATIONS
- Frame-by-frame animations for all character behaviors
- Calling up functions and applying logic to animations
This project was an opportunity to transcribe my fascination with the game Ori & the Blind Forest. I had to make a 2D metroidvania-style platformer. However, making this game in just 1 month was difficult. After all, the game is still in the prototype stage. Nevertheless, I'm happy to have been able to work on this project. It enabled me to deepen my knowledge of AI.
