Diorama Project
In this core subject, I learned to create complex shapes from basic geometries while following concept art guidelines. Modeling proved challenging as I had to master the right topology flow for 3D objects. Additionally, I enhanced my workflow efficiency by customizing shortcuts in my workspace.
Developing ideas is crucial, especially before creating a 3D scene, as it provides a rough overview and direction for my project.
I opted to use ZBrush for creating the skull because it proved more effective than Maya for achieving the desired level of detail.
Most of the assets were modeled in Maya. However, for the skull, I had to retopologize it within Maya as well
Applying UV mapping becomes particularly challenging when there are numerous assets in the scene
All textures are digitally painted in photoshop.
