Alien Debonair - Digital fashion project

Story:
"I found her in the eerie quiet, an alien draped in human fashion, hissing from the corner of the room. Her outfit was a striking blend of art and utility, a defiant statement of presence as our gazes met—two strangers in a floating steel maze."

This story is about a human who is exploring an abandoned cruise ship and stumbles upon this hissing alien dressed in remarkably human and on-trend clothing.

I found these two cool garments on Pinterest (sadly brand unknown).

Ever since creating the People of Ghisk project I've wanted to do more with that alien character, she's became kind of my muse for smaller projects now.

Starting with the denim pants, I challenged myself to make the jeans in such a way that it would look realistic in terms of thicknesses and seams but also the technical details such as the pockets and topstitching.

For the corset-top I was inspired by those colourful chiffon mesh stretchy tops with faux-corset boning. The top is finished with a zipper in the back and has a raglan sleeve design. The print is inspired by alcohol ink pour art.

I was so immersed into the process that I do not have any in-between screenshots.
