SEALS

A temple that was once a safe haven for everyone from their mundane burdens, now hosts a gate that's wide open for the demon's realm. Join the priest in acquiring the seals to shut the gate and cleanse the temple from those abominations before they raid the village.

Seals is very short game that I made as one of the requirements to finish the Game Development Bootcamp with CG Spectrum Academy, sponsored by the Saudi Digital Academy.

Seals is a 3D action-adventure game, where the player has to solve puzzles and fight demons while exploring to acquire the seals and close the gate of hell.

The game takes place in an enchanting temple that used to be the center of its community. The architecture features a ceiling as high as the clouds, elevated pathways rising from the dark abyss, and glorious statues of the goddess of the temple. The pillars and the floor highlight geometric patterns, the ceiling and chandeliers floral patterns, and the walls a beautiful hybrid of both. The temple is built with marble and bricks that are not any less spectacular. The orange red-tinted lighting gives a sense of the danger lurking ahead in this vast and grand temple.

There are five types of NPC enemies in the game, all share the same behavior but they have different HP and damage values.

Projects and games are almost always never really done, there are always bugs to fix, things to add, things to improve, and things to remove. We continuously learn as we work on them and as our knowledge grows, there's always more to be done! However, as everything in life, this project has come to an end and had been submitted. Following that, a part of the requirements was recording a play-through with our thoughts on the project. I'd like to share that with you since it's almost a retrospective overview of what I think went well and wrong, so that you learn from my experience with this project!
