I'm glad to share with you my latest work that I've done for Florida Universitaria's Art Challenge, in which I had only 10 days to complete the model. I really enjoyed this experience, as it was quite interesting and risky.
Here, you can see my prop, which is a Double Virginal made in 1581 by Hans Ruckers the Elder, a Flemish artist. The main theme of the Challenge was the medieval era, and I believe I matched the topic quite well.
You can find more information about the real Double Virginal in an Art Museum [1] . I tried to model it as realistically as possible, and you may notice some ornamental fillets or trims that I found in the same museum or on Pinterest. For instance, the pattern I used for the facade can be found here [2]. For the main painting, I used David Vinckeboons' painting, such as Garden Party (FĂȘte ChampĂȘtre).
