Escape Studios Year 1 - Biped Animation

The Year 1 Animation module covered the fundamentals of computer animation with the goal to produce a 20 second bipedal locomotion cycle with story.

For this animation I also did some maya rigging by pairing another character's rig onto a different model; Ukiki. To avoid loosing too much animation time, I skipped weight painting (and cut the model like the original character rig) and dropping finger, tail and facial bones. My tutor Alex Williams, however, felt this reduced rig detracted too much from my animation. So I rigged in fingers, tail and did facial expessions with texture sequences.
