2020 UAL animatic Fantasy World Concept 2

Another fantasy world concept. 1 day to create an animatic.

Concept

A boy was born into a tribe hidden from the rest of the world. 

A tribe that were each generation, one person was born to be the shaman of the tribe.

This shaman held great resposibilty of having the power to balance the souls of their world.

To 'send' souls before they devolve into what the people call monsters.

This tribe are not the only ones to have those born with this power. 

And this tribe was not always hidden from the rest of the world.

This lineage of shamans were not made eqaul to the others, they could do much more than restore the balance of the souls that tread in their realm of the world, their power came with a curse that would slowy consume them and drive them into bringing chaos into their realm of the world.

Due to this curse they went into hiding, and to keep this curse from taking over, each generation had passed on the role of the shaman the moment the curse began to awaken. 

To pass on the role of the shaman, the new shaman to be must offer the previous shaman to the gods, and successfuly send off the previous shaman.

For many years, the curse had been long kept a secret from the rest of the tribe but the shaman and few that lead the tribe.

This animatic covers a time that the boy witnesses the previous shaman, his teacher, kill every one in their tribe before making the boy the new shaman, having the boy set off into world and later come back.

Intead of the previous shaman simply passing on the role, they decide to kill everyone in the tribe but the boy, and tells him to learn how to break the cycle of the curse.
