"As you enter the store, a short creature rushes past you in a blur- Carrying items far too large for it to handle- but yet it handles them just fine. It takes a moment to notice you, wordlessly glancing your way with an easy smile, eyes remaining closed at all times. Nothing needs to be said, as it seems to read your intentions immediately, knowing exactly what it is you seek.
With this understanding- The Merchant approaches with the pitter patter of tiny feet, eyes finally opening, glowing up at you as it cranes it’s neck to meet your gaze- all lights and candles around dimming as if catering to the small show the Merchant intend to put on, without a single word exchanged you seem to understand that it’s about to go somewhere. Somewhere you’re hesitant to follow. Somewhere that has what you’re looking for.
The Merchant rises, floating to a point of standing upon a chest- to gain some height within this interaction, it remains silent but you know what it’s thinking as if it were your own thoughts. It’s forehead begins to glow with a magnificent blue light, a magical third eye appears within the space in front of it- Triggering a Swirling portal to form on the wooden planks before it- There’s a desire for you to follow it as it hops in, gracefully descending through the whimsical aether. Emerging on the other side, it wants you to follow, but would not fault you if you choose not to. You feel that it will return with what you need regardless."
