Old Street Phone

Modeling and texturing study made for M3DS Academy portofolio homework.I tried to reproduce the old unfunctional street phones that I saw in my city.I chosen this theme because I consider that is possible to learn about urban culture of a country and the way that it has evolved throught the years by observing the street environment.

I like to study and reproduce objects.Most of the time I like to add personal aestethic interventions regarding how I can visually relate information about the age, location and experience of the studied object.I consider that an old object can narate a lot of information about what happened in an specific environment through the degradation marks.In short words, when I do props and environments, one of my biggest goal is to make the objects in the composition speak and tell a story.

I modeled and did the UV tiling in Maya, textured in Substance painter and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag and Substance painter.
