A nutcracker in search of an author

This is an illustration I started during the Christmas vacations. It is about a nutcracker that I thought of as a character from some fantastic theater company. As often happens I was inspired by something around me, in fact I have an almost identical Austrian nutcracker that I always use as a Christmas decoration!
