Low-Poly Tree Diorama
This is a low poly diorama designed in mind for mobile games and simple projects.
This project was focused on optimizing polygons for low-end hardware and mobile devices. Without the grass or the bushes, the tree alone stands at just over 2.2k vertices and is very optimal for high-end mobile game projects. The tree was modeled using basic geometry which was then manipulated by hand manually to create the shape of a tree. It was created in Autodesk Maya 2018 and took around 9 hours to create. This was because I had to source images for the textures and model this from scratch. I had never modeled a tree before and this was my first attempt at doing so after studying various images.
This submission was just a test to see what it was like joining in the rookies this year before I enter into University next year.
