Toy Concept Design Project 2023

These concepts were for a collaborative project in which we were allowed to design a toy which would then be handed to another student for fabrication. 

These are my concepts for my toy design. 

The character is a small gecko child, who wears a raincoat, and often behaves in mischievous ways. I used a cartoonish, graphic style, which would be easy to convert into 3D.

I made an orthographic turn around, as well as a detailed render to show the texture of the toy. I also made a draft of what the packaging might look like.

(the render was designed before I revised the pose in the orthographic drawing, after receiving a note from my lecturer, that it needed a more dynamic energy, and more asymmetry)
