Project: Xmas Special 2023 - Lego Edition

"Xmas Special 2023 - Lego Edition" It's a Christmas special entirely made in Lego, then animated and post-produced using Blender and Unreal Engine.

First, I created the environments and characters using the "Lego Studio" software, where I also selected the basic colors for the environments and objects.

As a second step, I transitioned to Unreal Engine 5.2 where I: created the "Plastic" material to apply to all components of the animation; imported the character animations and positioned them in the 3D plane and in their respective places (i.e., the reindeer and Santa Claus on the couch); used "Niagara" to create VFX for the smoke coming from the cup and teapot, as well as for the snow; and finally, placed lights in the environment to simulate the fire, the glow of the moon coming through the windows, and the lamps inside the house.

I arranged everything in the timeline and exported different clips using various cameras positioned in the space.
