Animated robot
For a project in the course I was studying, I was given a shot from the film 'Batteries not Included'. I took out one of the original robots and brought in a robot that I modelled and animated.
I used a shot from the film 'Batteries not included'. I cut out the original robot and replaced it with a robot that I modelled and animated. My robot is the one on the left. All of the softwares that I used include: NukeX, Zbrush, Maya, and substance painter.
This is my completed animation in maya.
These are the different textures that I experimented with. I decided to go with the yellow one because the colours and tones go well with the shot.
This is a practice animation with jumping.
This is the untextured highpoly version of my robot.
This is the working rig that I created and used for my animation.
These are the concepts that I came up with. I have included references that I used.
This is my first blockout
Topology of my robot.
