Calcifer - Howl's Moving Castle

hello beautiful people, today I would like to share a small personal project with you.

the subject of the project is Calcifer the fire demon from the beautiful film "Howl's Moving Castle", the masterpiece directed by master Hayao Miyazaki.

I modeled all the assets with Maya 2024 in low poly and I have to say it was a lot of fun

I then imported everything into Substance Painter for texturing.

Here I tried to make a mix between the cartoon style of the original work and some details closer to realism

finally I did some lightning for the scene and rendered everything in vray.
