Spacecraft Assignment from school

I made a spacecraft fighter. Objective with the spacecraft was to make it seem like it could deal heavy damage and also have great maneuverability. With rotating wings and thrusters. Decided to make it a two man ship with one pilot and one navigator and backside gunner. This was my first ever attempt on a 3D model.

This was my first ever assignment I did at FutureGames Stockholm
Goal: create concept and a 3D modeled spacecraft with texture and animation. No more then 40k polygons. (I had 38k)

Step 1: Skiss different ideas and have your classmates decide on which one to keep working on, make a detailed concept art to be used for modeling.

Step 2: Model the spacecraft with the concept art (or make a new model)

Step 3: UV map the spacecraft, texture the spacecraft.

Step 4: Rig and skin the spacecraft, animate an idle, turn left/turn right animations.

Step 5: Implement said spacecraft into an unity scene with base controls.

Software used: Autodesk Maya, Adobe Substance painter, Unity

This was my first ever 3D model, I was really new to all the programs and it was quite a learning curve but I have started getting more comfortable with them. My drawing skills was also very rusty, so with help and guidance from my class and teachers I was able to make a decent blueprint for an spacecraft. However even though I made the original model based on the blueprint that i made, I decided to go another route and made a fighter spacecraft loosely based on one of my early sketches. The first concept was more of an working scrap craft with multiple armes used for mining.

Concept phase:
