Dahlia Lu - The Rockstar Bard - Original Character
I chose the theme of music, and collected images of guitars both electrical bass guitars and acoustic lutes, sound equipment like headphones and vintage mics, and 80s rocker clothing and medieval bard attire. I thought about taking the idea of a bard character from Dungeons and Dragons, and combining it with the edge of an 80's punk rocker.
This character is called Dahlia Lu, and she is a aspiring musician in her 20s who one day is transported to a magical land where people's talents are mixed in with combat to create a form of competitive magical duels. Dahlia has become The Rockstar Bard with a special electric lute. I took inspiration from the NPC characters of Slime Rancher for how I drew her facial features.
