As someone who LOVES pizza and as someone who used to live in Italy, I couldn't help but to make this comic! "Bambino's", which translates to "babies", is a story about a pizzeria that also delivers pizza babies to expecting parents. The thought came to me one day when I had a hankering for pizza. I thought, "what if people loved pizza so much, they'd adopt a pizza baby!?". Thinking back on it now, that's a pretty weird thought to have. But, I feel like it resulted in a pretty fun story. 

Above are the concept sketches I did when designing the characters for "Pumpkin Pie". While I ended up keeping the design for the Pumpkin Waitress, I decided to change the main two characters. I initially had them dressed in Halloween costumes but felt that they should be dressed casually to contrast the design and feel of the Pumpkin Waitress. 

I was bummed that I decided not to incorporate the weird eyeball kid into the comic so, I decided to start a series of illustrations with him as you can see below.

I took the Grimm's Fairy Tale, "The Hut in the Forest", and made it into a little three pager. When I had first read through the original story, I was drawn in by how unintentionally comedic it was. "The Hut in the Forest" has dark themes and fantastical elements but, the characters acted so nonchalant despite everything that was occurring around them. I decided to roll with this idea and exaggerated on all the characters to make my comic intentionally funny.
