Internship at DAE Research
During a 4-month internship, I researched and created 3D simulations driven by audio, documented fluid simulation possibilities within Houdini, and created a simulation showcasing the evolution of a coastal territory eroding over thousands of years.
Simulations driven by music
During my internship at DAE Research, I got the opportunity to create an experiment for the Virtual Music Experiences project. https://virtualmusicexperiences.be/
I created various simulations that are driven by music, I achieved this by using the Houdini Channel Operators to link simulation parameters to different aspects of the music. I created 3 smoke, 2 particles, 2 fluid and 1 cloth simulation for this project. Every simulation is linked to different aspects of the music to showcase all the possibilities.

Coastal Evolution
During my Internship at DAE Research, I got the opportunity to create a use case for the Testerep project. https://testerep-project.be/en
I created both a Prehistoric and Early Middle Ages heightfield and created an evolution simulation between the two. My colleague, Sander Casier, created both the materials and foliage for this project.
