Nuclear Winter

First ever compositing project.

The goal was to create an environment and ambiance based on multiple settings pictures given to us by our teacher. The theme of the project was the "Nuclear winter".

The first thing we had to do was to build a setting, we did so by using the Affinity Photo Software. Here are a few of the inputs that were given to us:

And with this, we had 3 settings to produce, here is the two of the three that I came up with (the third one was too heavy for the site, sorry):

The first picture was chosen, and so, we started the compositing part, made with the Foundry Nuke Software.

I had to add things like atmospheric fog, incrustation of smoke and electricity stock shots, and snow, which involves the making of a particles system within Nuke. Then, after exporting it, I made a little audio work with Adobe Premiere with differents stock sounds.

And with that, here's the final results:
