Kodama - The Little Warrior

I'm excited to present my very first project at SkyUp Academy: my little Kodama

The theme was 'Oriental mythology' and it was made in Zbrush and rendered in Maya with Vray.

For this project, we began by sketching our character on paper, and subsequently, we manually sculpted it using clay.

The second step was to model the small Kodama in ZBrush. 

Compared to the clay model, I made some changes, such as the mask, I redesigned it to emphasize the leaf-like mask more and chose to make it much more cartoonish.

Another thing I redesigned was the armor in fact, in ZBrush, I managed to recreate a piece of a cup held by a rope as it was in the original idea.

I  am very happy with the final result because it is my first project and I managed to complete it by overcoming obstacles that initially seemed insurmountable
