Chouyu - Chinese mythical Creature

This is my first project made at SkyUp Academy!
The main theme was mythical creature from the East. The creature assigned to me was Chouyu, a beast from the Chinese folklore.
He is represented with the body of a Hare, the tail of a snake, eyes and the beak of an owl.The sculpting was made in Zbrush, exported in Maya, rendered with V-Ray and the post-production was made in Photoshop

These are the final renders, the material used is a grey clay.
The main reason which made me choose this particular material, is how the light penetrates through some parts of the model, like the ears or the beak.
