Dwarven Knife inspired by one of the weapons used in The Hobbit. This served as a good practice for texturing and lighting. This was modeled in Maya and then Textured in Substance Painter and Mesh maps were baked in Marmoset. For the final renders I used Arnold Renderer in Maya.
For the texturing I used the typical workflow of making the details through alpha maps and tweaking it according to the appropriate material to match the desired result.
For the Handle and Blade I did some manual painting as well after putting in the alpha maps to replicate a much more believable variation of details.
