Hello everyone, I am happy to share with you my most recent artwork called The Light. I created this piece using Blender 3.5, which is a powerful and versatile 3D software. I wanted to experiment with different lighting effects and textures to create a realistic and captivating scene.

The inspiration for this artwork came from the text below:

"Dragons, old and young, true and false, bright and dark. And you. A small man with a big shadow, snarling in the midst of all. You have more brains than most, more wit than some, more courage than many. But do you have enough heart to face the storm that is coming? Do you have enough wisdom to know who are your friends and who are your foes?"

The process was challenging but rewarding. I used various Megascan materials and 3D assets to create the environment, and then I adjusted the colors and the lighting to match the mood and the theme of The Light. I hope you enjoy this artwork as much as I enjoyed making it!

The Story Behind the Image,

The story follows the journey of Sir Leon, a knight who forges an unlikely alliance with Razel, a dragon imprisoned by the Dragon Empire. Together, they take on Emperor Zalazar, a tyrant who aims to conquer the lands of the Holy Order, a group of devout knights who follow the ancient teachings of the Templars. In a daring duel, Sir Leon emerges victorious, putting an end to the war. As a result of their bond, Sir Leon and Razel become Dragon Knights, imbued with new magical powers. Friendship, courage, and peace are central themes of this fantastical adventure. The accompanying image depicts Sir Leon visiting his old friend after the war.

I started with a reference image. The challenge was to find a random reference image and build a story surrounding the image and create a 3D environment based on the story that I created. After finding the reference image, I started separating the layers based on the distance and elements in the images. Then I added my own elements and improved the look inside the 3D software. This helped me to add and remove elements live to get the visual correct according to my story.

I learned a lot from this project, such as how to use different tools and techniques to create a realistic and immersive 3D environment. I also enjoyed the creative aspect of building a story around a random image and adding my own elements to it. I think this is a great way to practice and improve my 3D skills and imagination.
