Ascend

Ascend - Stylized game environment inspired by the story The White Stone Canoe. This environment design features handpainted textures which I used to convey the whimsical, dreamlike atmosphere of the environment. A key aspect of the White Stone Canoe story is the changing seasons that the protagonist travels through so a priority for me was utilising colour and nature-inspired 3D models to suggest this change in the environment with a subtle transition.
