Selfish Generation - I'm Scum !

This snowflake's an avalanche.

I am self-taught I realized this episode alone on this very inspiring song by IDLES "I’m Scum"

I had this idea matured for a while until I found the right inspiration.

I wanted to react to the announcement of the "cancel" of Pepe le pew, a cartoon character, whose stories I watched on Sunday night when I was a child on TV, which certainly unintentionally inspired the character of "Poor Thomas B. like other big-hearted losers from pop culture.

This character, which one could already find problematical, mocked the behavior of actors or films from already previous times. It was a parody, that’s how I always perceived it anyway but it still had to be that the society "Post MeToo" "cancel" it when it could have served as a perfect example for educational purpose.

So for "Selfish Generation" I take back my character of "Poor Thomas B." but 10 years later, I intentionally damage his image, his role has changed and he becomes this problematical friend that need to be educated and you will be able to follow his evolution throughout the episodes.

This episode also highlights a subject that I know is sensitive but on which I think we must also ask ourselves: this new behavior of wanting to do his own justice on social networks rather than letting the real justice deal with the real culprits following a complaint.

"Selfish Generation" is a reflection on "how to live well together" without rejecting anyone and I hope that it will be understood thus
