Frootea

My first game project, Frootea, is an emotional and heartfelt text-message based game starring four characters, Egg (Vietnamese, they/them, pansexual, unknown gender), Sofia (Filipino, she/her, trans lesbian woman), Seven (Indonesian, she/they/he/any, bisexual, genderfluid), and the player (Singaporean, custom pronouns, sexuality, and gender identity). These four characters are members of a Southeast Asian LGBTQ+ support group created by an LGBTQ+ BigTok creator. Players can choose between choices when they are responding in the game.

When the player starts the game, they are greeted with several "Player Input" screens, where they will have to answer several questions to customize their experience in the game. These screens include questions such as the player's name, pronouns, whether they are a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and what their gender identity and sexuality are. The player can also choose to not give an answer to these questions, which will lead to the game using the default response.
