"Bovaridus Agilis"

My entry for the Annual Atomhawk Art Competition. 

The theme was "Under Strange Suns" and I decided to participate with a creature design. This big guy here is a "Bovaridus Agilis" an alien creature that roams the desert lands of its home planet. It's a massive herbivore with a big forehead for dissipating the unbearable heat of the desert. The blue parts of its body are used to accumulate water and resembles the local vegetation and main source of water. This also works as a camouflage strategy.
