The Hut

For our art school ESMA, we have been given different chara designs, and I chose this one created by Colombe Fretel. We had to invent his story, his props and a hut he could have built. He is a guardian of a totalitarian realm and built this place as a temple for his three queens. I decided to make the symbol of the realm (the moon) omnipresent, as well as the number three and many religious symbols, to represent the mental pressure upon this manipulated character. Ten years later, the revolution will come and all the symbols of the realm will be destroyed.

This project was a challenge I enjoyed a lot, it allowed me to complete the full process of a concept art creation. I used the softwares Affinity Photo, Maya Autodesk, Pixar Renderman, Nuke
