A lot of knowledge has been invested in this work, as well as a lot of new knowledge has been gained. I consider my best and hardest job of all time. With the help of this crossbow, I gained more knowledge in the modeling itself, as well as in how to better make and optimize the UV.
First, I made a refboard and a list of what I want to do and get from this model. After that I did blocking, lowpoly and then highpoly in Blender. As a result of everything, I decided to break the crossbow into three UV sets and made a sweep in Rizom UV. Then I baked in Marmoset Toolbag 4. And the most difficult thing was to make cool and high-quality textures in Substance Painter. I'll be honest, I redid the materials more than 5 times, and in the end I came up with exactly the materials that you can see.
In total, the model consists of 26k tris.
