This is one of the biggest projects of my first year at VFX Workshop. The goal was to model a robot from reference and integrate it realistically into an environment. In this case, the reference was the Terrako guardian, a character from the video game Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity from The Legend of Zelda.

First of all, I did the modelling and UVs on 3DS Max, while the rig and animation were done on Maya. Then, for the texture, I obviously used Substance Painter. As for the texture of the eye loop animation, this was done on After Effects.

Finally, here we are on the Nuke software so that the Terrako guardian can be integrated into our world with the help of the Camera Tracker.

Thanks to this project, I was able to go through the different stages of the workflow, i.e. modelling, UV creation, texture, rig, animation, as well as integration into a real setting thanks to the use of different software. 

I'm happy with the results I've achieved, but now we need to do even better for future projects!
