Uchūsen Mk II (Spaceship VFX)
This is a project I made for school, the Haute Ecole Albert Jacquard. This was a final project. We had to take the spaceship that we made in the first semester, rig it, animate it an integrate it in an environment.

Breakdowns
For the effects I worked on Houdini, for some of the smokes and the booster's fire. The compositing was made on Blackmagic Design Fusion. The mod was made in 3ds max same as the render with V-Ray and the Texturing in Adobe Substance Painter.
More on the spaceship
The concept art comes from Jon McCoy here. I reinterpreted some parts, mostly the back because it was not shown in the artwork. I also designed the cockpit which is not yet finished, might post an update when it is done.
