Year 1 animation project. A person visiting the library sneaks towards the bookcases to pick up a book, which is forbidden, causing an earthquake. Attempt at using simulations in Autodesk Maya.

The aim of this project was to have a character that interacts with an object causing a reaction. For this project I was inspired by a trip to the Stiftsbibliothek (St. Gallen, Switzerland). When I visited and looked around the library, in order to preserve the books and the knowledge that is being kept, the visitors are unable to touch the books in the library, this inspired me to think: what would happen if someone took one of the books?
