Since I got some feedback from the The Rookies Discord server I also wanted to share my progress here on the main site.

The awesome Concept Art is by Ricardo Padierne Silvera. I asked him about some details about the gold engravings of the character as I worked on the sculpting part.

At first I got some feedback for the face of the character. I got the feedback that he looked too old in my sculpt. I also put the head in Blender and adjusted the camera to 80 mm focal length and aligned the reference with my sculpt. That made the following edits a lot easier.

This is the current state of the highpoly. I'm currently enhancing the muscles on the upper body. I also need to resim the pants soon.

I also did a quick test bake with the upper body and some stencil testing for engravings yesterday. Can't wait to see it all come together.

I did some anatomy enhancements on the body. Put more volume on the muscles and made the shapes more clear. Also added some details for the normal bake.

Since there is still room for improvements I'm going to revisit the anatomical part soon and keep improving on that.
