Ruby Kamakiri

Once, he had powerful legs and was skilled at using them. However, in a tournament, he suffered a crushing defeat that left his legs disabled. He disappeared from the public eye, spending years searching for a way to regain his mobility. Eventually, he lost hope and decided to end his life by throwing himself off a cliff. However, fate had other plans for him, and he survived the fall.

When he came to, he found himself staring at a massive, pink and purple mantis statue. As he tried to make sense of his surroundings, the world shifted around him once more, and he was faced with a mantis mask. Suddenly, he felt a searing pain in his legs, as if they were being amputated. When he awoke again, he discovered that his legs had been replaced by a pair of swords.

To his surprise, he found that the swords contained immense energy that could be channelled into a mantis-like energy mantle. He embraced his new identity as Ruby Kamkiri and set out to explore the depths of his newfound power.
