River simulation & Environment | Houdini + Unreal Engine
A rocky river environment in the desert made with #Houdini and #UnrealEngine5. The river was simulated in Houdini and then imported to #UE5 as alembic. For the whitewater I used the vorticity attribute as a color mask in the water shader for creating foam. I also added some realtime particles and fog with Niagara.
