Cultist Totem
Totem sculpted for my final team project "Covenant" as a representation of the primordial gods of the game.
This has been one of my last models for the final class project "Covenant".
Set in a dark theme and with certain religious touches, the protagonist of this story accesses a mysterious cave attracted by some whispers, here he will discover this totem, built by a cult to worship their primordial gods.
For the inspiration of the concept of this totem, representative aspects of each final boss of the game were taken. The wings as a representation of life and the central figure in the shape of a crow as a representation of death.
It was a job which I enjoyed doing because it allowed me to improve and better understand how to make models with wings and feathers and make them "game ready".
The pipeline followed for this modeling was as follows:
1: Create a first base model in blender.
2: Pass the modeling to Zbrush where I gave all the details.
3: Retopology done in blender.
4: Deployment of UVs in blender.
5: Bake in marmoset
6: Finally textured in Substance 3D painter.
