A pen on wooden table

My first uploaded project to The Rookies.

I have always struggled with showing of any type of work and I'm almost never satisfied with any results I get.

I have been on and off with 3d for some years now. But I think it's time I try and do some small projects and show them someplace, to get feedback so I can learn where I should focus my attention and to keep me at the fire.

The left photo is a render done by me in blender. I modelled the pen and applied some simple materials, but the "table" is a texture from polyhaven. I used a HDRI to kind of give a bit of natural reflections to the metal and plastic.
