Inspector Gadget - Post Apocalyptic environment - UE5
The goal of this project was to create a post-apo scifi environment with a pop culture icon as the subject. It was also specified that our environment should absolutely tell a story. It was the occasion to learn the basics of Unreal 5 and broaden our skill set. I am responsible for all the aspects of this environment.
Here is the quick scenario I had to write to go with the environment :
A mecha Inspector Gadget is slumped in the offices of an abandoned town hall. The bullet holes on its carcass as well as the robotic debris are signs of a past confrontation. The vegetation spreads on this corpse which means that it suffers the consequences of the passage of time. The heavy atmosphere that hovers in the room as well as the orange sky are surely the reasons why this place is out of reach as indicated by the banners.
