Raw Malachite 3D Model
I used ZBrush to build and sculpt raw malachite using reference photos. I also used multiple renders and layered/edited them in photoshop.

For this project, I started out with a sphere and sculpted out the right base form using the symmetry and move tool. Then I used other brushes to created the bumps and crevices, along with various alphas for the textures. The hardest challenge was polypainting. As it was my first time doing so, it was difficult to learn how to paint the rock while still keeping it realistic looking. I used masking by cavity to overcome this, as it created nice layers of colors.
