L.I.F.E Bonsai

L.I.F.E, or Living Illness-Filter Element, is a portable special filter in a form of a bonsai, and it’s top notch tech can not only purificate the air around it perfectly, but and enhance it too, with bio-degradable organics loaded directly on his nano-skin branches.

This is a project made for the #083 Weekly Drill “Bonsai”, at The Rookies community.

I'm a little sad I couldn't set up anything better for the "leaves" shader on SketchFab, feels kind of lazy this way. I'll have to take a look at that later.

And here are the initial sketches of the chosen idea (I had so many that it was a difficult choice, from magical to non-euclidean bonsais). Stopping to think, making a normal bonsai would already be really cool.

I didn't had much time to work on this one and I'm definitely already starting to see some things that need more attention haha. Well, there's a long way to go, but I had my fun and hard work.

Working on the wood was especially therapeutic, I guess bonsais just have that on them.
