This is my attempted at creating realistic skin, eye, hair, nylon and sweat by manipulating base color and normal maps. The model was created in DAZ then brought into Maya for modifications and rendered in Unreal Engine. I manipulated normals that I found by combining, sizing and intensity.

Texturing in 3D just blows my mind! I love how real the textures become before your very eyes as you make the slightest adjustments. As an environment artist I have been amazed at the level of realism character artist can get out of there models. This is my attempted at creating realistic skin, eye, hair, nylon and sweat by manipulating base color and normal maps. The model was created in DAZ then brought into Maya for modifications and rendered in Unreal Engine. I manipulated normals that I found by combining, sizing and intensity. The hair proved to be the most difficult with lighting. I hope you see the believability in it like I do.
