Ataecina, the Reborn

Ataecina is a complicated goddess. She is from the region of Lusitania (current Extremadura and Beira Baixa, between Spain and Portugal). She is a goddess of death and rebirth, hence her name, who spends the winter in the Underworld but the summer on the earth. She is also a healer, and goats were sacrificed in her honor. But she also was called upon to get vengeance on those who did wrong.
