In this project, I designed a cross between Avatar and Orc and explored the workflow of an NPC character that could be used in a AAA game. This project made me realize that retopology can be very enjoyable process. I would like to come back to this character to make some adjustments.
This is my university project where I went through the workflow of designing my own character including the spear and the stand. Then sculpting, retopology, Uvs, bake and texturing to final renders. There are still some adjustments I would like to make, such as posing the character, that will be possible after the end of the term.
Software used: ZBrush, Autodesk Maya, Substance Painter, Marmoset Toolbag4
