"In this scene our hero explores deeper into the ancient city and finds that the people here are quite resourceful as they seem to have found a way to power their city structures.

This is my final project for my Intermediate Term at Think Tank Online. This project was based on the original concept art from Brandon Le

During this past 8 weeks I had the chance to improve my hardsurface and organic modelling skills as well as my lighting and texturing.

I started from a basic blockout and tried to keep it modular as much as I could. Also I had the chance to practice my retopology techniques in some of the assets.

All of the texturing work was made in Substance Painter, creating multiple texture sets for every asset, it was an amazing experience to approach texturing with this software. All of the textures in the scene were rendered at 4K resolution.

The vegetation assets were scans from Megascans to help me populate the scene. For the characters I used the basic Maya male human model and used Marvelous Designer for his clothes and Mixamo to give him the walking pose.

Thanks to my supervisor Anto Tony Juricic, Brandon Le and my classmates.
